I was randomly thinking about how does education make a difference in our modern era?
I thought to myself that now in 2021, education matters more than age.
In ancient Egypt, to become a swnw ( a medical doctor ) it takes a lot of training and experience based on actual clinical practice in addition to reading a lot of ancient manuscripts, one becomes a better doctor through age, whenever you get older you get better; because getting older is synonymous with having more experience and seeing more patients which means that you are totally experienced enough to decide for your patients.
But things are different now, with technology that allows us to record more and learn better. Age is not now an indicator for a better experience. In fact, you can visit a 50-years-old doctor who has no comparable experience to his counter 29-years-old doctor who is knowing how to use the technology and get the most out of it.
So basically in our era things are becoming different, to become a better functional citizen is not always synonymous with becoming older.
It is only synonymous with being eager and curious to learn and become a better version of yourself.
